My name is Kit. I live in New Jersey. I like cats, nature, literature, music, fuzzy slippers, and lemon tea. I’m dating a wonderful boy who is the best friend I could ever ask for. I observe much more than I speak. I write stories about strangers I see on trains and people I pass by on the sidewalks of New York City. I will never be able to figure out what my favorite song is. I think everything is beautiful – especially people who don’t believe they are. Words have been keeping me alive for the past two years. I like to lay down on my bed on Sunday mornings and listen to acoustic songs while my fingers feel the texture of the sheets. I’m not sure what I want or how I’m going to get it, but I know that I want something – and right now that’s enough for me.
